Handled is a trading name of Enquiry CX Limited, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17077425, registered office 29 Argonaut Avenue, Castle Donington, Derby, England, DE74 2UX. We are the data controller for the information described here. You can reach us at info@wearehandled.com.
Our enquiry form works like a shopping basket. We save the exact answers you have entered so you can leave and come back to finish later, and so Ashley can help if you get stuck.
When your progress is first saved, Handled stores only this random key in this site’s local storage; we do not put your form answers in local storage. Your browser’s own autofill or page history settings may remember fields separately. Because the key works like a spare key to your unfinished answers, anyone who can use that browser, or who gets hold of the key, may be able to resume the form and see what you had entered. On a shared or public device, use the “Start again” link on the form when you have finished, or clear the site data in your browser.
Unfinished answers are deleted from our servers automatically 90 days after the most recent save. Each time you save again, the 90 days start over. The key may stay in your browser a little longer — the next time you visit the form we check it, and if the saved answers have expired the old reference is cleared.
Using “Start again” on the form, or clearing this site’s data, removes the key from that browser. Emailing us does not remove the key from your browser. You can ask us to delete the relevant server-side saved answers or enquiry records by emailing info@wearehandled.com, and we will confirm it is you before we act. Once those server-side records are deleted, the old key cannot restore anything, and it is cleared the next time the form checks it.
Only Handled platform administrators. Client businesses and their staff cannot see it. If you complete and send the form, the submitted enquiry is visible to the Handled team and used to contact you and prepare your onboarding.
We will not email, text, message or call you because of unfinished progress. Consent to contact is the separate tick box on the completed form, and only a completed, sent enquiry gives us that consent.
If you complete the form more than once, we may hold more than one record, and those records may differ where you answered differently. Ask us and we will tell you what we hold and remove what you no longer want us to keep.
To understand where our form is confusing, we record anonymous progress only: a random reference for the visit, which step was reached, the page path, and the names of the questions that were completed, missing or invalid. We never record what you typed. These records contain no cookies, no device or browser identifiers, no IP address and no user-agent details.
We never ask for passwords, passphrases, one-time codes, card numbers or other payment credentials, and we never store them. Draft and progress records never contain cookies, device or browser fingerprints, IP addresses, user-agent strings, advertising identifiers, location data or your on-page behaviour beyond the anonymous step counts described above.
We use a small number of trusted suppliers who act on our instructions: our cloud hosting and application platform providers, our database and serverless function provider, and our email delivery provider for replies and service messages. They process information only to deliver those services to us, under contract, and never for their own marketing.
Information is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored in access-controlled systems. Access to enquiries and saved progress is restricted to the Handled administrators who need it, deletion is recorded in an audit record that names who deleted it and when — never a copy of your answers — and we apply rate limiting and abuse protection to our forms.
Email info@wearehandled.com and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk, or by calling 0303 123 1113.
If we change how we handle your information we will update this page and the date above.
No demo theatre. We'll set it up on your real enquiries and you decide from there.
